Job Summary

You will assist with the installation and maintenance of all IT systems, processes, and procedures, as required by the Digital Manager.

You will be the ‘first point of contact’ for those experiencing IT-related issues across all offices, as well as in remote locations; resolving each issue in as cost-effective and timely manner as possible.

In addition to this, you will help to maintain our corporate website as well as all our social media channels. This will involve some web development and content creation, as well as answering customer questions, posting content and assisting with all paid-advertising activities.

You will be supported to complete a Level 3 Digital Support Technician Apprenticeship as a part of this role, with options to continue your professional development on completion of this award. .

Responsibilities:

  1. Assist with keeping all computer systems and networks running smoothly through regular testing and maintenance activities.
  2. Assist the Digital Support Technician to install and configure computer hardware, operating systems, software and applications.
  3. Assist the Digital Support Technician to troubleshoot system and network problems, diagnosing and solving hardware or software faults.
  4. Talk users through a series of actions, either face-to-face or over the phone, to help set up systems or resolve issues.
  5. Provide support to the Digital Manager and Digital Support Technician, as required.
  6. Support the Digital Manager and Digital Support Technician with the roll-out of new processes, technology, programmes and applications.
  7. Configure new user accounts and profiles. Deal with password issues as/when they arise.
  8. Recycle legacy IT equipment when requested/approved by the Digital Manager.
  9. Help to monitor and maintain the Woodspeen website, Live Chat and all social media channels.
