Job Summary

You will support with the installation and maintenance of all IT systems, processes, and procedures, as required by the Digital Manager. You will be the 'first point of contact' for those experiencing IT-related issues across all offices, as well as in remote locations; resolving each issue in as cost-effective and timely manner as possible.

In addition to this, you will help to maintain our corporate website as well as all our social media channels. This will involve some web development and content creation, as well as answering customer questions, posting content and assisting with all paid-advertising activities.

Responsibilities:

1. Keep computer systems and networks running smoothly and ensure users get the maximum benefit from them through regular testing and maintenance activities.

3. Troubleshoot system and network problems, diagnosing and solving hardware or software faults.

4. Talk users through a series of actions, either face-to-face or over the phone, to help set up systems or resolve issues.

5. Provide support to the Digital Manager, including producing procedural documentation and relevant reports (as requested)

6. Follow diagrams and written/verbal instructions to repair faults or set up systems.

7. Support the Digital Manager with the roll-out of new processes, technology, programmes and applications.

8. Own the on/offboarding process for all staff equipment; advising the Digital Manager when any issues arise.

9. Configure new user accounts and profiles. Deal with password issues as/when they arise.

10. Support with the monitoring and maintenance of the Woodspeen website, Live Chat and all social media channels

11. Recycle legacy IT equipment when requested/approved by the Digital Manager.

12. Keep up to date with industry standards and security-related issues, feeding back all ideas and/or concerns to the Digital Manager.

 

About you:

1. Previous experience in an IT Support Role (or similar) would be preferred.

2. Ability to think logically

3. Ability to multi-task, project plan and prioritise workload (essential)

4. Problem-solving skills

5. Good attention to detail

6. Willing to learn and develop new skills

7. Understanding of languages such as HTML, Python, JavaScript (desirable)
