Apprenticeships are an exciting option for both the employer and the apprentice themselves.
They are a productive an effective way to grow talent and develop a motivated, skilled and qualified workforce by supporting employees to learn whilst working.

Not only can the training be adapted according to the needs of your business, you may be entitled to funding from the government to help pay for apprenticeship training.
A traineeship is a skills development programme that includes a work placement which can last from 6 weeks up to 1 year (although it's usually for less than 6 months).
Traineeships are available for 16 to 24 year olds (or 25 year olds with an EHC plan) to get ready for an apprenticeship or job if they don't have the necessary skills or experience.

In order to receive your incentive and to reserve funding for your Apprentice it is mandatory that employers of all sizes are registered for an apprenticeship digital account.
You will be required to complete the following steps before the apprentice can start the apprenticeship with your business and guides are available within each step to support you in this process.
- Register for an account
- Accept the Employer agreement
- Reserve your funding
- Applying for your recruit an Apprentice incentive payments
