What you will learn
In order to achieve this qualification you must successfully complete 3 mandatory units:
- Explore principles of healthy eating
- Consider nutritional needs of a variety of individuals
- Use food and nutrition information to plan a healthy diet
- The principles of weight management
- Understanding eating disorders
- Principles of food safety for the home environment
Course requirements
There are no specific recommended prior learning requirements for this qualification. However, you may find it helpful if you have already achieved a Level 1 qualification.
- This qualification is suitable for anyone aged 16 and above.

NCFE CACHE Level 2 Certificate in Understanding Nutrition and Health
