Woodspeen Training managing director appointed chair

Samantha Wilson takes on role at Yorkshire Learning Providers

Woodspeen Training’s managing director, Samantha Wilson, has been appointed the new chair of industry network, Yorkshire Learning Providers (YLP). The new role will enable her to continue her work championing skills in the region. 

As managing director of Woodspeen Training, Samantha has increased participation in a range of programmes including apprenticeships and Adult Education Budget (AEB) short courses, enabling local communities across Yorkshire to access skills support. 

Samantha said, “Yorkshire is an amazing place to work and study, there is such a strong ethos of working and supporting each other within the education environment. YLP is the skills network that pulls together to help the people of Yorkshire access skills provision, through apprenticeships, AEB, and Study Programmes.”

“Not only does this help local people, but businesses benefit from a workforce that is highly trained and highly motivated, boosting the local economy.”
