About this course
The Level 2 Certificate in Understanding Cancer Support is designed for anyone who wants to increase their knowledge and understanding of supporting adults living with cancer.
It could be used as a continuous professional development (CPD) qualification for those already working within the health care and social care sectors or for individuals providing informal care.
What you will learn
In order to achieve this qualification you must successfully complete 4 mandatory units:
- Cancer Awareness
- Introduction to the Diagnosis and Treatment of Cancer
- Introduction to Cancer Care and Support
- Introduction to End of Life and Bereavement Care
Course requirements
There are no specific recommended prior learning requirements for this qualification. However, you may find it helpful if you have already achieved a Level 1 qualification.
- This qualification is suitable for anyone aged 19 and above.
